Why I Charge a Planning Fee (And Why It’s Worth It)

Many travelers are surprised to learn that most travel advisors earn their income only after a trip is completed—and not all travel partners (like airlines) pay commissions. Add in behind-the-scenes hours of research, coordination, and support, and it becomes clear: travel planning is a professional service that deserves to be valued.

At Luxe And Love Travel, I charge a nominal planning fee so I can dedicate my full attention to crafting personalized itineraries, offering seamless support, and being available when you need me—even during your trip. It ensures that every client gets the thoughtful, elevated experience they deserve—from first hello to wheels up (and beyond). I believe my clients deserve nothing less than expert guidance—and that means constantly investing in my own growth. Each year, I take part in specialized trainings, attend industry events, and travel in person to top destinations so I can experience them firsthand. Whether I’m touring new resorts, meeting with trusted partners, or exploring hidden gems, I’m committed to staying current, connected, and fully informed—so you can travel with confidence.

Bespoke Travel Planning

Perfect for custom trips to Europe, Hawaii, multi-destination getaways, and most international destinations. Includes flights, hotels, tours, excursions, and curated life experiences.
Investment: $300

Full Service

Ideal for all-inclusive vacations to Mexico or the Caribbean. Includes flights, resort stays, and personalized planning support.
Investment: $200

Ocean & River Cruises

Planning fee includes cruise selection, pre-/post-cruise accommodations, excursions, and air support if needed.
Investment: $150

Simple Planning

Includes hotel-only bookings or airfare ticketing (per person). Great for quick getaways or single-service needs.
Investment: $100

Extended Journeys (14+ Days)

For trips over two weeks in length, with multiple destinations or complex logistics.
Investment begins at $500
